4 CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Criteria 2 and 4 are the most cited for shortcomings during an ABET visit. GMA provides focused review of your criteria 2 and 4 documents, targeted training and sample language/processes to ensure compliance with ABET’s criteria, policies and procedures.

1. Criterion 2 Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

i. Assist in developing PEOs and the process for reviewing them

ii. Collaborate with programs to describe how the PEOs are consistent with the mission of the institution

iii. Help programs identify key and appropriate constituencies that have vested interest in the program and are able to provide meaningful input regarding PEOs

2. Criterion 4 Continuous Improvement

i. Support programs in developing assessment, evaluation and closing-the-loop processes

ii. Work with programs to implement their assessment, evaluation and closing-the-loop

iii. Facilitate programs as they analyze and improve their assessment, evaluation and closing-the-loop processes
