COMPLAINTS & CONTINUED ACCREDITATION VISITS

According to its Accreditation Policy and Procedures Manual (APPM), ABET entertains complaints against and institution and/or its accredited program(s).

This can be an even more stressful process than regular visits. If a complaint is made against your institution and/or its accredited program(s), call GMA as soon as possible. We will:

  1. Assist you in responding to the complaint(s)

  2. Support your efforts to write the modified (i.e., only those sections relevant to the complaint) self-study template 

  3. Conduct mock site visit if a continued accreditation visit is required – these are off-scheduled ABET campus visits in response to complaint(s)

  4. Help you and your team keep calm and focused during this very difficult period
